1. No real benefits at this time other than being able to brag you have a car with the new batteries and the structural pack design, which could be seen as good or bad. 2. Negligible. Someone weighed it before vs 2170 LR and it’s like 20lbs lighter. 3. The 4680 cells have lower energy density The larger-battery Mach-E with the 4.8-second 0-60 mph time — thanks to dual motors and all-wheel drive — is rated at 270 miles of range. The Model Y Long Range AWD is simply more efficient
While both of these EVs offer great range, the Model Y is the clear winner here, with up to 279 miles of range with the base model. The Long Range and Performance offer 330 and 303 miles, respectively. For the Ioniq 5, the base-level SE Standard Range has the lowest driving range in the lineup at 220 miles.
Jun 12, 2020. #16. I will be replacing a 2007 BMW 335i hardtop convertible with a 2020 Y, LR/DM, white/black, FSD, tow hitch, Gemini. Using the VIN number in the source code on my Tesla account page my USAA insurance will increase $18.47 per month over the 13 year old Beemer. Last edited: Jun 12, 2020. The only Model 3 vehicles that have the option of the Partial Premium Interior are the Model 3 Standard Range RWD (AKA the $35k Model 3) and the Standard Range Plus RWD. Both are currently sold by Tesla, but the Standard Range RWD Model 3 is an “off menu” purchase, which means you need to go into a Tesla store and ask for it, or contact

The new Model Y Standard Range utilizes 4680 battery cells that is produces at its Texas plant and has an EPA-estimated range of 279 miles (449 km). Not only is the trim level not currently

Inside EVs does 70 mph range tests of a wide variety of models, including the 3 and Y (though long range versions). Both the 3 and Y were 10-12% under their EPA range listing at 70 mph, so it seems like the 16% listed difference between the two models should be relatively close to real-world expectations.

Via: Tesla. According to Tesla, the Model Y Performance can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph. If you compare the car to the Jaguar I-Pace or the BMW iX3, you'll find out that the Performance model is way faster. Even though the car is swift, it's still a sensible and practical family car.
The Long Range Model Y can travel an EPA-estimated 326 miles on a single charge, while reaching a top speed of 135 mph. All while traveling 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds.
