I plan on replacing the battery of my iPhone 11 Pro in a few days given that the current battery health is at 79%. I will be carrying it to a local Apple Store to do so, however my biggest concern is the water resistance. Will the resistance retain its same IP rating or will it be worse?
I’ve replaced my iPhone 6s’s battery 4 times. Once by Apple and 3 times by me. OEM replacement is great advice. The batteries you buy online are sketchy; they don’t last for nearly as long, they don’t show “battery health,” and they can get stupidly hot which is really dangerous for explosions and fire. The proximity sensor is on the flex cable that has the earspeaker attached to it. Simply disconect it, and leave it disconected for now. Boot the phone and see if the phone still reboots after 3 min. If it does not, then that is probably the issue. Replace the proximity flex cable. Note: the proxi is part of the faceid circuit and you will I have an iPhone 12 that is almost two years old. The battery health is now 76% percent. Other than the battery, the machine works great. I think I will keep this phone for another two years or so. I wonder if it is worth changing the battery with Apple, a 3rd party service provider, or any other options. The 13 pro does have a smaller battery than the 13. And depending on usage pro-motion might not be enough to offset the times when the screen is going at 120hz. I also believe when you set up a new phone it does a ton of stuff in the background and so performance may suffer for a few days. 116.

Battery re-calibration is done for my iPhone 11 , 15 months old .. Just increased the battery health from 83% to 84% . Anyways I get around 5.5 - 6hr SOT max with 100% battery life

Since the pandemic started, I’ve been using my 11 Pro a lot more (chalk that up to working from home). I purchased the phone in late October 2019 and the battery recently dropped to 89% capacity, according to battery stats. Oddly, CoconutBattery shows that it’s at 85.5%, with 300 cycles.
Connect you’re new battery (the old one does not need to be removed to test it) then connect your screen (it will be 3 connectors, screen Touch ID and front camera) turn on your phone. Make sure it turns on fine. Then turn off disconnect the battery and start the battery removal process. Thanks for the instructions!

Very relevant. Yes. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is still a relevant and popular smartphone, even though it has been on the market for a few years. Apple typically provides software updates for its devices for several years after their initial release, so it is likely that the iPhone 12 Pro Max will continue to receive updates for the foreseeable future. 1M3m.
