Never played Primal until recently, but played 3, 4, and 5. Decided to play survival permadeath with second chance for my first play through. Made it about 10 hours according to steam (18% progress in game), spread out over a few weeks. I have never felt so immersed in a game. The fear of death mixed with the setting just thrilled me.
I tested a tactic I've used in many other permadeath games like Doom Eternal, Far Cry Primal etc.. and it worked. This is basically a crutch safety net video coupled with other tips to help make sure you can use the crutch effectively. Once again, if you're into hardcore for the thrill and the potential to die, you probably won't enjoy this guide.
Im in normal mode or what it is, but I see achievement for permadeath survivor mode on expert diff. I wonder how is with saves in that mode? And if it possible to create copy of save file and load it if you die in the game? (with uplay synch turned off)
